Umar Faruk Jatau is a native of Birnin kebbi LGA, Kebbi State Nigeria. A graduate of Computer Science from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, a Security Consultant and Certified Public Procurement Practioner by the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) Abuja Nigeria.

He obtained a National Diploma in Statistics from the Polytechnic of Sokoto State, Birnin Kebbi and have acquired series of Professional Certifications in Statistics, Web Technologies, Cyber Security, Project Management, Public Administration, and Procurement among others.

His wealth of experience span over several years of hard-work and determination to achieve excellence in both the private and public sectors with interest and speciality in Statistics, Web Development, Billing and Customer Accounts Database Management, Public Administration, Public Procurement, as well as Information and Cyber Security best practices.

He is a Member Computer Professionals Registration Council's of Nigeria (CPN), Cyber Security Experts Association of Nigeria (CSEAN) and Association of Public Procurement Practioners of Nigeria (APPON).
